About
Built by people who’ve had to fix it themselves.
Raza Foundry exists because too much consulting ends at the slide deck. We’d rather hand over something that works on Monday.
The practice
Why the foundry.
A foundry is where raw material gets shaped into something with a purpose. That’s the honest description of this work. A business arrives with tools it bought for good reasons, processes that grew by accident, and data scattered across systems that were never meant to speak. Our job is to melt that down and cast something deliberate.
We started out doing this the way most people encounter it — from the inside, as the person who ends up holding the broken process. That perspective still governs how we scope. We ask what your week actually looks like before we ask what software you’re running, because the bottleneck is almost never where the org chart says it is.
We stay small on purpose. A narrow set of disciplines, done properly, beats a long capability list nobody behind it can defend. If a request falls outside what we do well, you’ll hear that in the first conversation rather than discovering it three invoices in.
We’d rather be kept than needed.
Raza Foundry — operating principle
Principles
Four things we don’t negotiate on.
You approve before you pay
Milestones are completed, revised, and signed off before an invoice exists. If work never reached a milestone, it never gets billed.
Plain answers
If a project is a bad idea, over-scoped, or better solved with software you already own, we’ll say so — including when it costs us the engagement.
You own what we build
Accounts, code, credentials, and documentation are yours on completion. No hostage integrations, no lock-in dressed up as support.
Handover is the deliverable
A system your team can’t operate isn’t finished. We document it and train the people who’ll live with it.
Working together
What the engagement feels like.
It starts with a conversation
No pitch deck, no obligation, no charge. You describe the problem; we tell you honestly whether it’s ours to solve and roughly what it would take.
Scope is written down first
Deliverables, milestones, timelines, and fees are agreed in writing before work begins. Nobody discovers the price at the end.
You see it as it’s built
Each milestone is delivered for review. You tell us what’s wrong, we revise it as reasonably needed, and only then does it close.
We leave properly
Documentation, credentials, and a walkthrough. Ongoing support is available if you want it — never a condition of the system continuing to work.
Next step
See whether we’re a fit.
The consult is free and ends with a straight answer either way. Worst case, you leave with a clearer picture of the problem than you arrived with.
